The shell tracks the pistol’s longer slide length and narrow frame, forming a muzzle channel that prevents drag on the front sight and maintains clean reholstering from any angle. Railed variants, including the Glock 48 Railed and Glock 48 Railed with Nightstick TSM-14, seat firmly inside a widened accessory channel that accounts for the added bulk of under-barrel housings while still preserving retention along the trigger-guard lock point.
